Booking & Customization: 2–4 Weeks Before Event
Once you book your package, we’ll reach out to confirm details like location, theme, colors, and add-ons. We’ll finalize your package and schedule your setup time.
Final Confirmation: 3 Days Before Event
We’ll send you a final confirmation of all details including arrival time, weather plans (if outdoors), and contact info for your setup lead.
Arrival & Setup: 2-4 Hours Before Event
Our team arrives on-site early to unload, set up, and fully style your party package. That includes balloon backdrops, table set ups, entertainment equipment (like bounce houses or photo booths), or styling events like photo shoots, or staging homes.
During the Event
Everything is set and ready to go. If your package includes a staffed booth or treat stand, our friendly team will run it for you. You enjoy your event while we keep things running smoothly.
Takedown & Cleanup: After the Event Ends
Once your event ends, we return to quietly pack up, clean the area, and remove all rental items. No mess left behind — just great memories.

How It All Started
TAP Events, Decor & Styles started the way many great ideas do — out of two creatives coming together to collaborate as one. Our determination to throw amazing events without the stress, mess, or expensive chaos of DIY setups. Shawnte Wells was known for creating unforgettable birthdays and themed celebrations from scratch. But as her events got bigger and more people asked for help, she realized something: most families want that Pinterest-perfect party look, but without spending hours sourcing supplies and setting it all up.
With an eye for styling and a passion for joy-filled moments, Shawnte turned her creative hobby into an event and styling service that does it all. Porsha Ingram was always so amazed at the outcomes from amazing decorations, but one day for her grandmother birthday she said to herself she going to do it and she grew in her craft. Her grandmother was the first one to purchase her a balloon pump and challenged her to grow from there. Today, TAP (Tay and Porsha) events service families throughout the dmv with taking away the stress and creating magical moments. A partnership that truly flourished.
